    Boulia Camel Races

    It’s the Melbourne Cup of camel racing - the longest camel race in Australia (running a 1500m cup final) and also offers a rich prize pool in the professional camel races circuit.

    The Boulia Camel Races is held annually on the third weekend of July.  The 18th July 2022 is a special public holiday for the Boulia Shire Council for the purpose of the Boulia Camel Races.   Attractions include fireworks, bands, magician, markets and of course the marvellous camels. This is a great weekend for all the family. Bookies are on track for these races.
