The development of the Central West HHS Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workforce Plan is an important step in delivering sustainable, culturally safe, and responsive healthcare services to our Central West communities.

Central West Hospital and Health Service (HHS) has partnered with the Office of the Chief Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workforce Officer to hold a series of in-person community events. This is an opportunity for us to come together and share insights that will shape how we build a strong local workforce to best serve our communities.

These community events provide a safe space for yarning, questions and sharing stories.
