Council advises all residents and visitors in Boulia to boil tap water used for drinking following a recent communications network outage that affected technical operations within our water treatment plant.The boil water alert is precautionary and will stay in effect until council is satisfied that levels are within the required range with consistent testing. The Shire Hall is located in Boulia's main thoroughfare, Herbert Street. It is operated by the Boulia Shire Council and is available to book for functions such as conferences, meetings, parties, weddings etc.
