Council advises all residents and visitors in Boulia to boil tap water used for drinking following a recent communications network outage that affected technical operations within our water treatment plant.The boil water alert is precautionary and will stay in effect until council is satisfied that levels are within the required range with consistent testing. The last recognised Corroboree Tree of the Pitta Pitta tribe. This tree can be found behind the Boulia State School. This is a distinctive Wadi (Acacia Peuce) tree, which can only be found in the Boulia/Diamantina Shire and on Andado Station. These trees can live for 200 years.
