Boulia Shire Council has issued its half-yearly rates notices.
In recognition of the ongoing cost-of-living pressures facing our community, Council resolved at this year’s Budget Meeting not to increase rates this financial year, with rates remaining at the same level as last year.
Council understands the importance of keeping costs manageable for residents and local businesses. While continuing to provide essential services and maintain important infrastructure, Council will also continue to look for opportunities to identify cost savings and improve efficiencies in its operations.
Boulia Shire Council remains committed to responsibly managing its finances while supporting our community and planning for a strong and sustainable future. Please note the rates payment due date is 28th September 2026.
