RAPAD

The Remote Area Planning and Development Board (RAPAD) is a collusion of seven Councils - Barcoo, Blackall-Tambo, Boulia, Diamantina, Longreach, Winton and Barcaldine, who work together to achieve economies of scale for roads, water, sewerage, pest and weeds works. This credible and highly proactive team, help facilitate the growth and development of the Central West and wider Outback region, enhancing the quality of life for all residents.

There are a number of programs and projects that fall under the RAPAD banner including RAPAD SKILLING, Outback Hubs, Rural Financial Counselling Service North Queensland and the Qld Feral Pest Initiative.
